1. I felt like Brians tone did neither of these things for me while I was listening, it provided a happy medium I would say. I was interested in what he was talking about but I felt like he was using a really monotone voice. It was almost a little bit too boring to listen to but what he was talking about kept me interested. Also , you could tell based on his tone which parts of the podcast he was really interested in discussing.
2. I dont agree with this policy. This is because I feel like some people are too stubborn to ask for help and one could possibly help them without beign asked. Also, some people are struggling to much to ask for help or are embarrassed so someone just needs to cut in and help them. The only time when I would disagree with this is if it were in a professional setting or if someone specifically said to not help them, other than that I would follow this policy.
3. In the podcast the first thing that I noticed was that Brian is making his podcast very personal. And in my research papers first paragraph I feel like I personalize what I am doing and why I am passionate about this essay. Secondly, I realized that Brians last minute of his podcast ties back into the really personal part of his experiences and that is the goal of my conclusion so my readers understand why this is important to me. Also , in between the introduction and conclusion Brian does a really great job of explaining differnet experiences that he has heard about on the hotline and I feel like this relates to the format of my analysis from my research.
