Summary of the Prologue:
Ira is interviewing David on why he is sad. David explains that he thinks like a scientist becuase he is a pysicist. one day he heard a story about Fermi and if extraterrestrials were real. A bunch of pysistist were sitting around discussing this. And eventually decided no one knows if there are other people in other places. This became known as Fermi's Paradox and David didnt like this. He didnt understand how to wrap his head around such lonely and sad concept. David also doesnt understand why other people don't get sad and why Ira doesn't get sad. The prologue ends by explaining that on their radio show they are going to explain that life does exist and see peoples different opinions on this.
1. I think that they were all included under one podcast becuase they are trying to answer a question. Also each different part of the acts explains another persons opinion on teh same topic and their story. It connects and it flows becuase they are all trying to answer Davids question and figure things our about Fermi's paradox while giving their own opinions.
2. I really dont think that my parents could answer any questions. This is becuase I think that this topic brings out alot of different peoples opinions adn no one is 100% sure just becuase it is too risky to find other life forms. However what I woudl ask them is: If we had the chance to live somewhere else , would you move our family knowing that this new place was safe or would you continue to lead the same life?
3. I dont feel scared adn this is really somethign that I dont think about. I feel liek David only thinks about this because he is a pysisitct. I dont think most humans think like that.
4. My favorite question that Rosie asks is : Can I have a cookie? That is becuase I feel like that is a random qeuswiotn along with multiple of the other ones and I can imagine a little 9 year old girl asking that.
